I’ve been so busy these last few months that I haven’t spent nearly enough time reading the books that are filling up my kindle and bookstand. But the books I did read were so amazing that I wanted to share them with you.
About the book:
After the death of her parents on the day of her college graduation, Delilah Armstrong thought she could finally follow her heart and come out to her closest friends, but the guilt of going against her parents’ beliefs haunts her. The feelings she has for her best friend, Ashley, are stronger than anything she’s felt before, but Delilah has never even kissed a girl, and fear stops her at every turn.
Ashley Carver promised herself that she would never again date another girl who wasn’t out, but that was before she met intoxicatingly sweet and sexy Delilah.
When another girl offers to teach Delilah the ropes, it changes Delilah’s whole world and gives her the courage to go after the only girl she really wants. But coming out isn’t as easy as Delilah imagined, and moving past her parents’ death and the feelings of guilt she is left with is even harder. The intense passion between Ashley and Delilah is too strong to deny, but coming together means risking everything. Discovering Delilah is an edgy, evocative, romantic story of friendship, family, and the courage to love.
Fresh off the heels of yet another bad relationship, Tristan Brewer is taking a break from men to try and figure out where he keeps going wrong. He knows his biggest fault–he leads with his heart, not his head–and that’s never going to change. But after several introspective weeks, he’s beginning to get a handle on things. That is, until badass heartthrob Alex Wells walks into his bar…
Alex has spent eight years in the Army, months in a hospital bed, and far too long hiding his sexual identity. He’s guilt-ridden, damaged, pissed off, and up for a Silver Star–for the incident that nearly cost him his life, and kept him from his grandmother’s funeral. But all he wants to do is forget his stint with the institution that allows but doesn’t necessarily accept, and live the life he’s always dreamed of.
The chemistry between Tristan and Alex ignites from the moment they meet, and the more time they spend together the hotter the flames become. But the closer Tristan gets, the more Alex’s walls go up, and when the two walk onto a military base, Tristan finds out Alex’s physical scars aren’t the ones that run the deepest.
About the Book:
Bless me, for I have sinned.
I had impure thoughts—temptations of the flesh. I’ve harboured lust, and for the very last man I should be harbouring it for. A man of God, no less.
Except, this man is no angel. He’s no saint. In fact, he might just be the Devil. Only Satan himself could set my very skin on fire, and send shivers and filthy want and carnal desires through my soul. No Godly man would look at me like he wants to devour me whole, or peel my innocence and inhibitions away piece. By. Piece.
He says he’s here in Canaan, Georgia to save our souls. A traveling preacher here to speak the gospel, and deliver us from evil. But a preacher shouldn’t be built for sin, like he is. No shepherd should have lips that make his flock weak, or hands that make me ache, or a body that teaches mine the true meaning of original sin.
Gabriel Marsden is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and he’s leading me astray. He’s leading me into temptation, and I can’t–and I won’t–say no.
But you already know all this, don’t you, preacher man? You already know every detail of this sordid story. Because that man?
That man is you.
The Devil came down to Georgia. And God help me, I think I’m already lost.
About the Book:
Cocky bastard. Loose cannon. Devil on two wheels.
Three rules: be ready to fight, keep your nose out of other people’s shit, and never stop moving. I’ve lived my entire life at 180 miles an hour, with no brakes.
Until the day she comes crashing into my life—beautiful and broken, like a perfect storm. I never should have touched her. She never should have moaned for more. Because Delphine’s more off-limits than I ever could have dreamed.
See, I’m in deep with a small-town thug. But it turns out, it’s not our debt I want to settle. It’s his woman I want to take.
Except Delphine’s never really been his—not when she was sold to the prick to settle her scumbag father’s debt. But now, the prick who mistakenly calls her “his” wants to marry her up and cement his claim to the underworld throne.
But that ain’t gonna happen. Not once I’ve had a taste of the forbidden. Not once I’ve laid hard eyes and rough hands on the only real good I’ve ever known.Stealing her could destroy us both and bring a hell down on my brothers and my club. But loving her is going to make me break every single rule I have.
They call me a Lost Devil. But this devil just found salvation, and I’ll storm hell itself to make her mine.
You Belong With Me
